What is a micro-credential course?
A micro-credential is a short, focused course designed to develop and certify specific knowledge, skills or competencies. GIM micro-credential courses vary in duration, from a few days to several weeks, depending on the subject. Eligible micro-credentials may also be used toward a relevant larger qualification, subject to programme and credit-transfer requirements.
Credit bearing micro-credential courses can provide for shorter completion times of academic programmes and comes in various forms to support a more flexible schedule for aspirational individuals to pursue academic goals, even with a busy schedule!

What Will You Get Upon Completion?
Malaysian Micro-credential Statement (MMS)
The MMS will provide basic information on the learning hours, credits, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) level of the associated programme(s), learning outcomes, assessment, and quality assurance for recognition by the Higher Education Provider (HEP).
Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Accredited Diploma
The content of our programmes is MQA accredited and is credit-bearing towards an MQA accredited Diploma upon fulfilment of certain conditions.
